Well, OK, its not like they need our help, as they are one of the leading research and development facilities in microelectronics in Ireland, if not the world…but they did need some ‘end-of-life’ gadgets when putting together a display cabinet to show some of the end applications that their micro-chip research goes into.

In fact, I think if I was an iPod that had been sat on…twice, (at least), or a digital camera that was made grossly obselete by advances in Smartphones, (which Tyndall have likely contributed to), I dont think theres a better resting place I could ask for!

So, now the poor, broken gadget-eens, are amongst the seeds of new innovation, and who knows, they might even inspire researchers as they pass by!

Anyway, romantic electronic flights of fancy aside, if you are anywhere in Ireland, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Waterford, Limerick or otherwise and you do have any end-of-life, or BER, (Beyond Economical Repair), gadgets, such as mobile phones, iPhones, laptops, games consoles, tablets and more, you can send them to us at GYG.ie to give them a good home.

Remeber, we pay the most for your working AND non-working electronics, and even if its not worth anything we can still ensure its responsibly recycled….although we know you care more about the cash
