While we would love to recycle everything there are things we cannot recycle.
So why throw them out?
Start a new hobby and make something beautiful
Russian artist Igor Verniy creates masterfully elegant steampunk animal sculptures using metal from old car parts, watches, electronics, and more. It’s not just the attention to detail that makes these creations come to life, these awesome metal animals also include moving parts. It takes a lot of work to create motion-enhanced metal works of art. Verniy starts the process by observing animals out in nature in order to imitate their movements and aesthetics just right. Once he has their movements pinned he replicates them using recycled materials such as old car or bike parts, clock movements, tableware and anything else he can find that will work. Check out these realistic animals formed from metallic debris here! Verniy creates all kinds of animals including reptiles, bugs, dogs, and birds. Each creation includes carefully crafted joints that provide a wide range of natural movement, allowing the steampunk animals to be posed and reposed over and over.
